Just when I thought I had gotten "most" of the hibiscus I "thought"
I needed. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like I've got a new need for next year.
Anyone growing this??? Got pics???

Wow, that article gets around! I JUST, not even 5 minutes ago, read the exact same article in yesterday's San Bernardino Sun. I have a "baby" Rum Runner, so hopefully it will grow up to be this beautiful :-)

heres mine in the afternoon color phase..in the morning its a nice ddep rose pink..then changes thru the day.

I just found this thread.....and have been growing this plant for the better part of this season....It is absolutely gorgeous, and I can't wait to get several other varieties I'm finding on this forum! The blooms each last 2-3 days here in my neck of the woods, and so I get a neat effect with the newer, darker blooms, next to the lighter, older ones. I can't wait to go see what this one is doing every morning, and it's the first plant I go to on my early morning coffee stroll thru the garden.. :-)
