It had to be moved

Mansfield, TX(Zone 8a)

This started off the summer as a fairly small plant in a six inch pot. It sure has been happy where it was, but night time temperatures dropped, so had to move it onto the patio under cover. That is DH's petite little size 14 shoe next to it. It is still in the six inch pot, and I know it needs to be repotted - I also know I'm gonna break it. Guess I'll just have to start some new ones :-)

This Erythrophylla, b.k.a, Beefsteak Begonia? It's beautiful Sharon. I have a small one and absolutely love it!

I got it from my mom, and she just calls it "beefsteak" begonia. The original came from my grandmother, who passed away in 1980. I've killed a couple by having them in hanging baskets in the yard, and when the birds build nests I just can't water them. It is so pretty that I just hated to move it, but had no choice, and now have to repot. That may not be such a bad thing - get some babies started. Let me know if you want a start.
