Kell what part of Northern California are you from? I live in Portland Oregon and just purchased this plant in Sacramento. I hope it will grow in Portland. Any advise?

The PlantFiles say zone 9 is the lowest but if you read some of the comments, there are a few in zone 7 and 8 overwintering them, one wrote it's a "tender perennial in Zone 8b".
Kell is in the San Francisco Bay Area, in a mild Zone 9. Milder than mine :-)
Sue, that pic was taken at a friends right by the Mormon Temple in the Oakland hills. I think they are zone 10.
But I see them here and there.
Yes, I am warmer in winter and much cooler in summer, thank goodness! What a difference 35 minutes makes.
thanks for the information. I will put it in a pot and keep it near my house for the winter.
