Has anyone grown any of the Japanese pumpkins/squash in midhigh desert conditions? How did they do?
So far I've been pleased with yellow summer squash bush, and zucchini bush and regular and mini pumpkin here--better results from them than from winter squash or spaghetti squash, and am wondering if it would be worth trying some of the Japanese pumpkins and squashes.
No real luck at all with melons, no matter when planted or what type. What is the name of the Navaho watermelon sometimes grown in SW in some dry areas?
Japanese pumpkins/squash; also name of Navaho watermelon
