Has anyone ever tried to grow lentils?

I'd like to try these. Has anyone grown them with success or know anyone that has tried?

I just got some seeds, but haven't tried them yet. They are Mediterranean Lentil Legume from Pinetree Seeds. They don't really put alot of seeds in their packets, but you are welcomed to a couple dozen if you would like them!

If I do decide to grow them, I want to do a large plot to make harvesting the lentils worth my while, but thanks so much for the kind offer! You'll have to keep me posted on how they do for you!

Ditto! It's always fun to try something new. I like to start on a (very) small scale when I start something new, seem I ALWAYS seem to be a disaster the first time or 2!!
