It's Mum Fest weekend in New Bern, and there is a lot going on.
Tryon Palace Gardens are open at no charge on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Friday and Saturday there is a historic plant sale at Tryon Palace. I have gotten some great stuff here - unique and healthy - these are cuttings and seedlings from plants on display in the gardens.

Oh how I wish I could come but it's a baby sitting weekend for us.We visited once and plan to visit again.
