I'm with ya on that one! I've had a good run this year, tho, with many flushes on my brugs, so I'm happy! But it still hurts!! ;-(

We have possible frost predicted here in NE Georgia on Saturday- a month early!!!! I have three seedlings started last December, and two have bloomed. I waiting for that last one- it has one bud about 1/3 open, so crossing my fingers!

Oh Dixie, I bet that was hard! That's a beautiful white.. big, open-faced blooms look so happy. Will it survive your winter if you mulch it really well?

No, Last winter, I mulched one with abt 2 feet of leaves it survived. I had to cut off the top this spring but it never did as well as it should of, didnt bloom for me,it evidently had root damage.

Yep, I see. Your pink is pretty, too! I'm gonna kick myself halfway around the block for this, but do you have extra seeds from your Cleome? That is a majorly gorgeous color! I'd be glad to send you SASBE for a few. The last place I lived, between the Cleome and Obedient Plants, my gardens were taken over!! I love that color though.
