I was in Chula Orchids today ordering some perlite, and remembered that I needed clips too. So I was wondering if you all would be interested in going in on clips, kinda like a coop. Harry gave me a quote on 1000 clips( 500 Bees & 500 dragonfly, butterflys could be exchanged for dragonfly) and shipping and it worked out to be 6.4 cents a piece. Of course that is not shipping from me to you. And I have no idea how much that would be or the best/cheapest way to ship them. I emailed him again this evening for a quote on just 500 clips, as I don't think even with all of us ordering we would need 1000 clips. But ya never know. I'm just kinda putting out a feeler, so anybody interested please post and put the amount you would be interested in. I would also like to restrict orders to the hoya forum so ordering doesn't get out of control.

Hi cflower, It looks like we are already at 1000. Unless everybody agrees to maybe 1500 it looks like there is not enough. I'm not sure what the price would be per clip as the shipping would increase. Also, I'm not sure if there are enough people to order the remaining clips out of the next 500 ordered. What does everyone think? Also do we want all Bees, or a mix of Bees and dragonflys? LMK I ordered priority boxes today, they should arrive in the next 7 - 10 days. I will e-mail Harry and see what the shipping on 1500 will be.

Well, my bees knees I do declare a dragonfly just did a fly-by. Tami, I will be happy to increase my order to 200 if that will help you reach the 1500 mark - I am always running out, now I won't! I am pretty much happy with either style.
Meltn, I believe the pretty clips will make a lovely fashion accessory to any straight-jacket.

I just recently bought about 6 dozen assorted of these from a guy out of Florida. I could always use more so if me ordering 100 will help out with getting what is needed to meet the requirments ,go ahead and put me down for that amount.

Harry the Supreme Commander e-mailed me back and the clips will average out to 6.3 cents a piece now. I am going to go ahead and pay him by paypal today. I've been trying to rack my brains on how to send them the cheapest. Any input would be appreciated. Hope you all don't mind paying .50 more for delivery confirmation. Since dragonflys seem to be the most popular I am going to order 2- 500 bags of the dragonfly and 1-500 of the Bees. Meanwhile could you all please D-mail me your address, and double check to make sure everything is correct. Oh wait Awanda told me that if I print the labels they don't charge for the delivery confirmation, thanks girl for the heads up. So pay no mind to the .50 delivery confirmation. These clips dont weigh anything so im not sure if it would be cheaper to just mail them snail mail or priority which would be a minimum of $4.05.

Thanks David there all yours. Got your addy too. No they don't way anything at all. Snail Mail would be the cheapest way. I'm either going box hunting tomorrow, or turn the small priority boxes inside out. I couldn't even give a estimate on how much it would be to ship, as I don't really mail alot of boxes. It shouldn't be over $3.00 but I just don't know.

Tammy, the prices that you've quoted arent going to be beat by anyone on these clips. I paid .16 cents a piece for the last batch that I ordered and i've seen them as high as .50 per clip.
I'll be paying via pay-pal so please when you send me my invoice remember to iclude any pay-pal fees. I want to send enough to cover all expenses on my part. I'll also need your pay-pal addy.

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to post the receipt for payment. I haven't heard back from Harry but I emailed him and asked him for 2 Bags of dragonfly and 1 Bag of Bumbles. Sounded like everyone was more interested in the dragonfly. So I will keep you informed when he is going to ship, which will most likely be Monday. Darn! I need some of these too. It's so hard to keep an eye out for all the deals happening within individual forums. Not that I blame anyone for not going the co-op forum route; I'm dealing with a disastrous co-op as I type. Oh no plans to open a store. I have been reading up on that coop that you are involoved in. How terrible for everyone involoved. I hope that it doesn't ruin the coops, you can get some screaming deals through them. Ya never no when another clip coop will come about.
