Hardy Prickly Pear To Trade

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I am not sure what one it is but it is hardy to zone 5. I have had it outside for 3 years and it is growing great. They are nasty little things so plant where kids or pets won't get to them. I think you could use them to keep some things out of your plants. I am looking for something diff. in the cactus line.

What color are its blooms please?

They have pretty yellow blooms.

My DH asked me how I would feel if he started calling me 'prickly pear' as a term of endearment. I told him I knew how to get a hardy prickly pear that would grow in our garden. ROTFLMAOAPIMP!!!! I think he's decided to call me 'hunnybunny' instead.

Carrie,
That is too funny. I think hunnybunny is much better. Prickly pear sounds like you are a bit mean spirited. :)
