I have some unknown daffodil bulbs that would trade for other varieties.
Last year they bloomed w/ small white petals and a short yellow cup w/ 2 or 3 flowers per stalk. However they haven't been divided in over 20 years so now that they can spread out they may have more flowers per stalk or larger flowers. Interested in any kind of daffodil or paperwhite that can handle zone 8b.
Trade: daffodils
Got any pictures? I'm always up for a bulb trade.
unfortunatly no, i just dug them up from my dad's house they look like poets but w/o the bright orange trim around the cup.
most of the bulbs are about 1 in in diameter but some are smaller since they hadn't been divided in over 20 years.
What else are you looking for ? Sounds like a tazetta to me.

Mini, could you look in the plant files and see which photo looks most like your daff? If you just search tazetta, as rose318 suggested it might be, in the common name, it gives lots of choices.
Thanks.
I think it is a tazetta, it definitely has a short solid yellow cup and white petals like that. Additionally she had them planted 5 or 6 inches deep even though the bulbs are rather small (inch in diameter or less).
Hi, neighbor!
the other place to look is on the website for the Florida Daffodil Society which is based out of Tallahassee, the book they are selling is amazing. I originally got it off of eBay. It's all about growing daffodils in our area! I got it to learn about daffodils for Thomasville. -plantnutga
