CLOSED: HAVE: Peacock Gingers - Silver Spot and Jungle Gold

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

I have some beautiful peacock gingers I could trade small divisions of. The foliage on these are beautiful. The Silver Spot has lavendar blooms and the Jungle Gold has gold blooms. These are tropical here for me, but in warmer climates, you could plant them in ground and leave them as a beautiful ground cover.

Check my other posts for other items I have to trade and for a list of what I'm looking for in exchange.

Thank you for looking.

NancyAnn,
Are these hardy to 7B? They are beautiful!

Janet, Silver Spot is supposed to be hardy in zones 8 and above and maybe zone 7, according to some sources. Next year, I may leave some outside in the ground and see if it comes back in my zone 7.

Jungle Gold is hardy in zones 9 or higher.

As a houseplant, it's beautiful. It's compact with bold foliage.
