What a wonderful gathering of people today. I enjoyed seeing all of you and meeting those of you I had not previously met. I am home now and exhausted, but exhilirated. Thank you for the superb afternoon.

likewise, I am so tired. Glad I don't have to make the long trip home that some have to. It was great seeing those of you who I hardly know, and those who are repeat friends! LOL! The food was great and the company better, but the plants were neat groups this swap. So many I haven't heard of or knew I even wanted came home with me! I brought a neighbor with me today, Glenda, and she really enjoyed herself, thanks to those of you who shared conversation and plants with her.

Also, someone asked for some of the Japanese maple seeds that my friend in Plano has? Would you please dmail me? I would be glad to mail you some.

Pbtxlady, Pattie, really was unfortunate today bless her heart, she wasn't feeling well at first, and then her car broke down, so she didn,t make it, we are so sorry Pattie, hope you feel better soon.

Robert and I enjoyed the day tremendously. It was good to see old friends and meet new ones. The food was good, and we certainly had enough! The entire back end of my Jeep is full of exciting new plants, but I will start dealing with them tomorrow! Thanks to everyone who generously shared your garden with me, and a special thanks to all of you who hosted and made this a very special day.

Wow How cool is that! How did Frank do that Josephine?

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

I had sooo much fun - thank you to everyone for coming and having fun!

Only thing I need to worry about is next time to bring more plants - all my cuttings and plants where picked up or traded off with in 30 mins of getting there...

Better start more plants for next time!

What a super movie, Frank and Josephine. Thanks for sharing that.

I don't recall the name of the lady who made the wonderful garlic bread. You were telling us how you did it and I have been trying to remember since I left the swap. I want to try to make it tomorrow. The flavor was stupendous. Would you d-mail me or just send to my regular e-mail, please. neptara@charter.net

Wonderful job once again Frank! I had great fun but was very tired when I got home. It was so great to meet everyone! So many more than I expected to be there. I think we doubled last year!! I was just thankful I was able to make it so soon after my back surgery! My poor DH has more plants to plant now! LOL!

Siggy and Loonie, my DH about fainted when he saw the huge pots of Crossvine and Mexican Flame vine! I plan on trying to take cuttings of the MFV to share at the RU in CS. I will get your pot to you one day for sure David!

Paige brought three of her black swallowtail BFs to the park and released them, it was a treat for all who were there! Debness, I am excited to have my Rue with the BST eggs on it. Hopefully it will be enough to feed them!!

Everyone, thanks for welcoming my neighbor Glenda, she was only asked at about 10 o'clock if she wanted to come, and had no idea what to expect. She had a great time, and was thrilled to take home some shared plants and meet a few of my DG family.

All, this was my very first ever plant swap and, I must say, I am highly impressed. Josephine, thanks for the welcoming hug. Ted, thanks so much for hauling my stuff from the car to the pavillion. Patricia, thank you again and again for the Agarita and the beautiful Gayfeather. I could go on and on and on, but suffice it to say that all of the plants I took home (and how did I manage to take home even more than I brought??) were beautiful specimens.

It took me an hour to get home and 3 hours to get everything in the ground (Deb, the Carolina Buckthorn went in the ground first). I'm sure my neighbor thinks I'm insane.

It was a pleasure meeting everyone, and I look forward to attending another swap. Hopefully I will have more things to offer next time.

My girls and I had a great time too! I was glad that my plants got good homes. Otherwise they would have become compost.

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

David - I just potted up the two big one from you.,.. had to start a few cuttings to boot... hehehe

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Ted, did you ever figure out who the aquatic plants you left with me were for?
Josephine.

Boerne new zone 30, TX(Zone 8b)

Well I just got hom tonight. Unloaded the plants and hope to get them in pots or in the ground tomorrow.

I had a GREAT time and it will certainly make the one at my house this weekend better for having gone to my first and seeing what all happens.

Thanks everyone for all the plants... I hope to have a huge lot of them next year to pay it forward...

Well I only have about 2000 messages waiting for me since I haven't been near a computer in three days.
