I managed to keep my little plant alive all summer, and I don't want it to die. They are very hard to find here. How can I over winter it here in Michigan indoors? Has anyone done this?
Keeping Eucalyptus over winter
Need to add that my plant has the typical round coin like leaves of the eucalyptus you see dried in craft stores.
I wish I had good news for you, but I've tried *twice* to overwinter Eucalyptus....unsuccessfully.
If you can find a location that has *both* very bright light (like a southern exposure) and low temperatures, you're more likely to be successful.
Good luck to you!
Thank you. I guess I'll lose this one. I only have east and weast windows and I live in the woods.
Do you have a window near which the temperatures get pretty cool, though?
Because it just might work....it's worth a try!
