South American Alpines for Zone 8b

Hi, I'm doing an extensive South American Garden and am looking for names of plants I'd have success in 8b. Any sources and advise on planting is also appreciated. Thanks!

South American? Sounds interesting, have you asked Ursula for her thoughts yet? There are lots of bulbs that would survive, what kind of climate do you have, zone 8 meaning nothing to me.
