The web group Mommy and Me is having a huge sale at the Dell Diamond tomorrow and Sunday of baby clothes and equipment. ' Was on the news last night, so I thought I'd pass it along. Couldn't find old thread where "someone" from SA talked about looking for garage sales. I'd say this would have to be the mother of all garage sales for baby wear....

Big bubbles, well crud!!!!!1 I forgot that the Mommy & Me resale thingie was this last weekend. Boohiss. I had a baby shower to give on Saturday and so then I totally forgot. DH and I were going to go and pick up some stuff for our adopted baby girl-to-be. Do you know when the next one is? When I went to the one in February or March...whenever the previous one was, they handed out a card telling us that the next one was going to be weekend of Oct 6th. So did they do the same thing this time...hand out a card telling when the next one is?
Since our adoption is taking so doggone long, the next one will prob'ly work better for us anyway. I hope they have it in Feb or March. That will be perfect since we are praying our referral comes in from China around March. However, it is looking like the rate the CCAA is going now that it won't be until summer or fall next year. I cannot even wrap my small brain around that, so I'm still praying for God's miracle that it will happen early next year.
Anyway, if you know when the next M&M at the Dell Diamond is, pls let me know.

I'm sorry Michelle....I figured you'd wait till right before adoption to start buying like crazy! I am not a spokesperson for Mommy and Me!!!! I would have to be looking at "Grandma and Me"......I just happened to see a segment on the news about it. They do have a website, so you could keep up with all the baby news.
Since this is the TX Gardening forum.....I'll add some gardening talk for you, Michelle........
I have lots of stuff that needs to be cut back if you want cuttings or seeds. We're already deciding what needs to go into greenhouse and what will have to make it in the yard. If you're coming into Austin, stop by and bring your clippers and some plastic bags! I spent yesterday afternoon potting cuttings of angel wing begonias for the AGC Flower and Vegetable show in Nov. That's the one I told you about.....You need to enter some of your fall tomatoes in that show...you don't have to be a member...but it would be nice! We'll have a plant sale also....members donate plants...and some that are difficult to find in nurseries, like "pass-along plants."
Bubbles, I did check the website for M&M and they have not posted it yet. I'm going to keep checking tho. I am sure Bryan would not want to be buying stuff yet. :( However, if we did find some things for a good price in good condition, he'd make an exception.
I tell you, my Fall tomatoes are not doing so swell. The two I have in the EB are doing pretty well. But only the Cherokee Purple has any maters on it. I have some kind of disease on my other plants. :( I know none of them will be ripe in time for November. boohiss. I'm dying to have some maters. What day is a good day for me to come down and pilfer some of your cuttings? :)

Michelle...since it's supposed to turn cool on Thursday, and I'm not sure if that means rain...how 'bout Tues or Wed? Bring MeRae too if she'd like to come.
We need to find a new dishwasher sometime this week. Maybe a good rainy day project for Thursday....

Hey bubbles....it is actually raining right now and thru tomorrow. So Thursday is suppose to be nice and cool and as well as Friday. I have bible study until 1:30 on Thurs which may make it a bit late to get down to you. Is Friday a possibility?
Oh...and Merae is so slammed at work, that I haven't seen her in a couple of weeks. Usually I see her once/twice per week. So I doubt she'll get to come down to your house w/me anytime this week. :(

Friday works for me. In fact, we'll have Tyler here! His parents are having a party Friday nite, and they don't need his help "rearranging" everything in the house! Just call me that morning and let me know what time....I'll be here, playing!
