I am new to epi's and the one I bought now looks a little pruney or wrinkled. The leaves are not filled out. Does it need more water? I would love some advice.

Yes, it sounds like it's thirsty. Has it been quite a while since you last watered it?
I guess I assumed I could put them on the same watering as all the other cacti but I watered it last night. How often do you water your epi's?
Well, I guess I water them after the soil has been completely dry for a few days. I water them more frequently than my cacti and probably more than a lot of my succulents, too.
A lot of mine are showing new growth since I brought them inside a few weeks ago, so they're definitely not dormant.
