Mama's Pound Cake
Mama always had one of these cakes baked when we came home for a visit

Duncan Hines OR
Betty Crocker Cake Mix--yellow, butter with pudding in the mix
5 eggs
1/2 C sugar
1/3 C crisco oil
1/4 C cold water
1 C sour cream

If you want, you can add vanilla or lemon flavoring. Beat all ingredients real good. Grease & flour bundt cake pan. Bake in 350 oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool on a rack. You may put a glaze on the cake but we like it plain.

3 C chopped apples
Cream oil & Sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add flavoring. Sift flour, soda and salt and baking pwd. and add to above. Mix well, then add apples, coconut and nuts. Bake in greased and floured bundt pan in 300 oven for 1 1/2 hour.
