weedsgalore/Sue....blessed me with this stunning beauty!! I was just amazed when I unwrapped it and saw it. She'd told me how pretty it was but I wasn't nearly prepared for what it looked like "in person." So....anyone know its name?

Not sure, but my best guess would be Dyckia brevifolia 'Yellow Glow'
You have to have the exposure right to get the most yellow. That's a nicely grown plant.

Thanks Dave...hopefully Sue will see your kind words!!

I did..I did...!! Thank you Dave, had the plant for about 10 years...at that time the huge clump (of someone else's) took a ribbon in a bromeliad show..talked the owner into bringing me a pup..now i have a clump growing in the ground...Chantell kindly took a pic for me..and now finally i have the id back..i think the tag was swallowed in the clump yrs. ago!! I knew it was a brevifolia...thanks for the cultivar name! (making a tag for it now). Very bright light with some noon shade here in Tampa, Fla. only the top pups get the yellow coloration..the one on the sides stay a dark green..too young? or maybe not enough light exposure? Yahoo! thanks to both of you!!! sue
