This looks to be a burnett hybrid I believe it is possibly the Davidsonii hybrid. Very hard to find does it seem to be more birdsnest form or climbing form??

Hi Brian. It was huge and a birds nest. Found at the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers. I wanted to add it to the PlantFiles but have no clue what to put it under. Thanks for any help you can give.

I agree guys, it was incedible.

LOL Don. If I could have swiped this one I would have. Instant PINK love. You know the SF Arboretum has great sales but I do not think the Conservatory has any! I will have to ask Laligirl, she works for the Arboretum.

This is one in the same hybrid groups I believe David Burnett did. He was a aroid collector years ago who has sense passed away. He did many odd Philodendron hybrids many of them are still around but unnamed. I believe on of the odd things he would do was sell off hybrids with no names in pots that had 30 to 50 hybrid seedlings at a time. These odd creations have taken on many names in some cases they have fairly well known names others not so good. I have ID some of the parents I believe by looking at their growth habits and leaf structure. It seemes he did many with davidsonii and other climbers but a few larger birdsnest forms. I have this exact for you have pictured I believe in my collection I will have to take a photo. I also believe it is flowering right now much like your photo.

This plant in the photo is different but I believe it may have been a very similar cross or possibly from the same parents.
