Hoya Acuta with interesting leaf.

Brisbane, Australia

I recently bought this H. Acuta "pink" and noticed this little heart formation on the leaf. It is quite raised up and distinct as you can see. Could anyone comment on wether this sort of of formation is common or rare on a hoya leaf. Thanks Roy.

Wow...that doesn't look REAL. Looks like a cows tongue with a heart on it. You should dip that in some preservative & sell it on Ebay. Ha Ha.

I may be weird, but I would take that as a "message" from one of my deceased loved ones. Yep, that's what I'd think!

It's a definite sign! LOL!

Looks like it has heart disease.

That is amazing...such a perfect heart shape...but seriously....the question was is it common/uncommon, right?
It looks similar to a 'burn' spot, where there had been water on the leaf and sunburn resulted...but the shape......!?!?
(LOL...makshi!)

I love the leaf, I agree it looks like a tatoo. I got married on Valentines day so I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for posting.

See if you can take that leaf as part of a cutting, maybe you can start a whole new heart tattoo hoya. LOL!
