I saw the neatest plant at HD and would like to know if anyone here knows what it might be. It is really pretty. The photos were taken with my picture phone so they are not the best quality in the world but I hope someone knows what this might be. If I am in the wrong forum, please direct me to the right one. The first photo is of the whole plant.

How I miss when I could go to lowes and HD and fill my basket up !
I would love to find a variegated one ! Images of Princess Flower, Glory Flower 'Variegata' (Tibouchina urvilleana)
If they still have them tomorrow I am definitely going to get one. The place where I saw them has already closed but I will be there first thing in the morning to get one.
Thanks,
Jesse
Oh yes Jesse grab one ! How are your gardens and plants doing in your new yard ! I know you have that awesome greenhouse. Do you have lighted Av plant stands still ?
Looks like it will be awhile until we move :(( The buyer did not come up with promised funds. But we may have another buyer. She has to get aproved by the parks . Praying and crossing our fingers and toes Wink Wink.
I'm sorry that did not come through for you Allison but I will be praying for you that this other person will buy your home and you can get on to moving into your new home.
I need to take new photos of my greenhouse. We had to tear down half of a shelf that I had built to put in my new heater but I'm thankful that I finally got a heater. And a great price too. Home Depot brought one out that was left over last year and it was exactly what we wanted, a blue flame natural gas heater. The price on the shelf where it was said $395 which was way too much for us. But I took it up to custormer service and they did a price check and it rang up at $190 so I said that heater is mine. LOL So we bought it and had our usual maintenance man come over and hook it up for us. We have been running it on low to make sure it stays about 65 for the AVs and a few other ones that need to stay that warm.
I do have a shelf unit with 4 shelves on it with all of my other gesniards on it and I have a shelf in front of the window that has all of my minis on it. The rest stay outside. I'm getting ready to give them all some plant food since they have not had any in so long. I have the stuff from Optimara which is supposed to be really good for them. I hope that helps them bloom a little more.
Here is my little shelf of minis.

Great growing Jesse ! Love your mini shelf ! Cute wick pot holders. What are they and where did you get them. Thanks for sharing !
They were candle holders and I got them at Dollar Tree. I'm not sure if you have that store there or not but I love going in there. I find some of the greatest buys there.
Jesse
Oh wow their candel holders ! How neat. Yes I am pretty sure we have those stores here thou I have not been in any store for year. But I enjoy looking at yours ! Thanks for sharing them !
You are very welcome. They are just right for the 3" pots. And if I have things growing in 2" pots I just simply sit the 2" pot into the 3" pot. I don't add any soil. The 3" is simply used because the 2" is too small and would go all the way down in the glass. They work so great. It does not take me so long to water them now. In fact I just watered them this morning and it was so easy. I think this is the best setup for me. Others make prefer something else and that is fine but for me I like this method.

Oh My!!! Oh My!!! Look at what I got this morning. You guessed it right! And I got the only one left. Here is a photo of my Princess Flower (Tibouchina candolleana). I was so upset when I went back to get it. All of them were gone. I was so sad. Then I decided to walk through the inside part of the greenhouse and there it was! Just waiting for me. We both looked at each other and knew we were destined to be together. It was the very last one so they had someone move it into the inside section. So we are both really happy. Here is a photo of it. I just love it. And thanks to all of you who told me what it was.
