My first seedling for 2006

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

I am so bummed that I can't find the tag on this seedlings. I can already tell that it is going to be pink . Here are first pictures. It seems like it is taking forever for the blooms to open, but we are really cool right now.

Another picture. You can see just a hint of pink on the trendils.

I cheated and took a look inside the bloom and this one is going to be a single flower.

Mansfield, TX(Zone 8a)

It's looking great. Be sure to let us see when it is completely open :-)

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

Waiting with you to see how it turns out.

Looks like a suav hybrid to me Patrica. Is she nodding? I bet she is a wide flower. I can't wait to see her!

It has colored up some this morning, but we are really cool here right now, so it may still color up more.

It just might end up being just another Frosty look alike.

But looks orangey instead of PINK. That is cool!

Kell, it definately went from pink to orange. It looks like a orange frosty .

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well that is cool, Patricia. So many people love Frosty!

It isn't one I am going to keep Kell, but thank you.

So... Is it a Pink Frosty or an Orange Frosty??
LOL
My monitor doesn't seem to show the right colors at times.
If it blooms as well as the Frosty does here it should be a keeper.

Kin, I will post a picture I took this morning in a little bit. I can say that I had this brug. planted in the hottest corner of my garden and it didn't even wilt or get spider mites, so that say's something.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

These will be the last pictures I will post of this Brug.

The best way I can describe the color is sort of a salmon color on the edges.

OOOOO I love that color! My first seedling was a plain ol white.. so at least you have a really nice color. No spider mites??? Wow.. that would also be great. LOL Sheesh, this year I don't know if I had ONE plant in the whole yard that didn't get spider mites! Nah.. but it sure seemed so.

Thanks Patricia
It sure has a unique coloring. If it held up to the heat and bugs it maybe telling you something.
:)
Thanks for posting the follow up photos.

It is a cool color! But I understand, I too have no room for ones I can't use in my hybridizing. Well not much room. LOL.
