Garage Sale finds

We had our community yard sale this weekend. Can you believe what has been hanging out at my neighbors house. I didn't buy this one, took every thing I had, but I have two of them and I just couldn't bring myself to buy it. Well I had Awanda e-mail me and tell me NO. I did buy a H. carnosa that I am going to plant in with my others, but I really wanted the plant stand it was in. Isn't this plant beautiful. It was still there this afternoon, no one bought it.

NO? it's possible to say no? PLEASE someone teach me. I have krimson queen from 5 different sources because I can't say no! I would have had that plant paid for and in my car faster than fast, no matter that I have a big one (half that size) at home. Is it still for sale? will they ship to Oregon................. Uh Oh Joanne is repeating step # 11 she has gone mad. Joanne if you want me to go next door and get it tomorrow I will. It is $20.00 and I don't have any idea how much shipping would be. I would imagine 15.00 to 20.00 for sure. Let me know girl it is beautiful. I know I did good. I walked over there 6 times and then this morning to see it again and for sure to tell her no that I did not want it.

Yard sales prices are very ...ah...flexable. I'll bet if you offer her 10, she will sell for that ...or at least for 15. Especially the day after. Never hurts to make offers.

Well Marcy your right that is the price with the stand. The price started at 35.00. She told me Sunday that she would let it go for 20.00. I'll have to stroll over there and see whats happening. Joanne I will D-mail you with info.

Well, the neighbor decided to keep the beauty. I can't say I blame her! Thank you Tammy for all your efforts! I guess I'll have to be happy with the one I already have :~) I found 2 small starter plants (krimson queen) at a local store this weekend and my daughter said, "Mommmmmmmm, you already have that one!" and drug me out of the store. I think I need to reread #11. Do ya' think it will help? :~))) -joanne

Just as well...that would have cost a fortune to ship. (sour grapes ya know)..ha ha
They grow fast, just get one and put it in a plant stand like that...in no time at all...you will have one just like it.

I almost fell off the chair when I read Awanda said NO! Are you sure it is the same Awanda I know??? LOL!

LOL I was shocked too. I had her there for reinforcement so I WOULDN'T buy it. When I told her "OH boy now they have lowered it to 20.00", she said get over there and buy it. BUY BUY BUY. My DH wasn't helping much either, he took a 20 out of he's pocket and said here I know you want it go buy it. Apparently he doesn't realize how big these are all gonna grow up to be.
