OT but maybe you can help

Here is what is happening to my clivia. It looks like some sort of pest to me. What do you think it is and how do I get rid of it? The picture is a litte fuzzy because I could not find my tripod but if you need a more detailed shot, I will search for it.

Thanks,
Jesse

Not sure sorry. Is the plant inside ? Might want to take it away from other plants until you can find out.

I moved it out of the greenhouse so that whatever it is cannot infect the rest of my plants. Hopefully I can find out what this is and save my plant.

I don't know very much about bugs...are these spots the only problem for the plant? Does it have other signs of trouble; stunted growth, mushy crown, etc? Sometimes water drops on leaves can magnify the light and burn spots on the leaves of an otherwise healthy plant.

That's my 2 cents worth...

Here is the address to the link that I originally posted on the lily forum. It has photos of the whole plant and shows big brown spots on it. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/648761/ I think that maybe that was from it getting scorched from the sun but the little specks I think are some kind of bugs, I just don't know what kind. If anyone has any ideas at all, please let me know. I really don't want to lose this plant.

Oh Jesse your plant is beautiful ! Hope you can save it. The pictures back awhile ago on other forum look one like burn marks or the ring fungus that there is no cure and can trans-plant to other plants. Can you lighten up the picture please hard to tell.

I think the big spots were scorch marks but the little yellow things look like aphids to me. I looked them up in my plant book and they look just like aphids. So I'm going to hose it down really well today and then use some alcohol on a q-tip to get the rest off. I will watch it very closely and see if maybe that gets rid of them. I have it outside of the greenhouse so that it cannot infect the rest of my plants. I really hope I can save it. It was so pretty when it bloomed this past spring/summer. If anyone knows what else I can do to get rid of aphids, I'm open to any suggestions.

Thanks,
Jesse

Jesse watch out for overwatering. These plants like it a bit dry.
