The plant is Hatiora Saliconioides.
The chrysalis is for a gulf fritillary butterfly!

The butterfly actually emerged the same afternoon that I took the pictures! Thanks for the comments!! I have a yard full of passionvine so I see these fellas constantly is all situations.
