Does anyone know of a county extension source or any other source for free or low cost compost in the Bay area of California?
thanks.
compost
My brother lives in Castro Valley and bought a Smith and Hawkin composter ($30) through his county for me. I know that Redwood City has done that also. You might call Master Gardeners for info, I think they would know.
I'll call Master Gardners. I assume they are in the phone book under that name? I have 2 composters but I need much more than they can produce.
Thanks
I know what you mean about needing more compost, I have 4 of them and still could use more. I'm going to grow worms this year-- have you thought of doing that?
