Looking for large ears of sweet corn

Argyle, TX(Zone 7b)

I would like to hear from some people about what varieties of sweet corn make tasty large eating ears and a good place to buy the seeds. I am in North Texas. Thanks in advance, Mike

Augusta, GA(Zone 8a)

Most of the main season sweet corns have relatively large ears ( 8-9 inches with 16 -20 rows) There are lots of varieties, but you might want to start looking at Willhites. Their varieties should be proven in Texas. http://www.willhiteseed.com/products.php?cat=31 Should you be interested in open pollinated sweet corn, Stowells Evergreen, Country Gentleman and Howling Mob have large ears and are edible.
