I purchased this plant from Lauray of Salisbury early this summer.....enjoying it's first bloom!

I love the fact that even the flower 'bract' is pretty.

Nematanthus
Very tolerant and easy to grow trailing Gesneriads with small glossy leaves and bright, tubular pouch-shaped flowers. They easily withstand hot and cool temperatures, drought and low humidity. Hardy in frost-free climates, and can tolerate light frost. Hummingbirds love Nematanthus.

Thanks, all, and Hi Rachel...welcome!

Glad to hear your begonias are doing well, Allison....I agree, nice plants...small, (that's OK, though!) but very healthy and well-rooted....I was happy with mine. I got 2 others that I'm hoping will bloom in the near future.

This is quite a small plant, so I was pleased that she chose to bloom for me.
Just the one bloom so far, but a few others are developing....they sure take their sweet time!

I'd heard something about Lauray's of Salisbury phasing out some plants, but can't recall if it was begonias or ??
