Is this common?

I don't know this brug ~ it was given by a friend. Before the bloom opens, it looks yellow. After opened, it turns pink. Is this a common phenomena?

The first time it bloomed, I was driving into the yard and saw the yellow and was so busy staring, I almost ran into a tree. Much to my relief, the pink coloration arrived the next day.

Pod, that's the way most pinks do, looks like one of the frosty pinks, there are many. If I could only have one brug it would be one of these, good solid strong brugs.

Thanks Judy ~ I thought "how strange". Seeing as you are a Brugmaniac (nice thought) are white ones not very common?

Someone needs to correct me if I'm wrong, but I would think they are plentiful, because most seed that are grown out from crosses end up being white. I have two seedlings at present from great crosses that turned out to be white. Also I have 2 seedlings that turned out to be a white with creaksickle streaks, interesting but not anything I would want to keep.

Odd, I wondered about the white because I rarely see photos or comments about it. I do love the way the white brugs glow in the dark... Guess it's just me... : ))
