I bought this plant as a Alocasia Macrorrhiza maroon/black stem. It puts out runners, so I don't believe it's an Alocasia. Still, I love the dark leaves and stems. I've since obtained A. Macro black stem and it is definitely not this plant. Any ideas what this one is?
That's a beauty. Could it be C. fontanesii? Are the veins on back of the leaf also dark?
Thats it Linda fontanesii. Your mac dark stem forms will have leaves that point upward.
I LOVE the dark stems... Haven't seen anything like them around here.
Are you sure that is REAL? lol I LOVE it, the leaves are so silky-satiny.... and the color is gorgeous!
