Taken 26th September 06. Grown in a semi-shaded greenhouse.

Just lovely. How many corms did you put in one pot? And the pot size you used?

Hi sedum37,

They have done very well, I put 7 corms in an 11" internal diameter pot, with sloping sides and 10" tall. I placed them fairly deep, about 3" down.

I placed the other 7 in the ground, they are half the size and not flowering, but it was a very dry, hot summer and they are on the top of a slope. Those in the pot of course had a better growing medium, I use gritty soil, leaf mould and moss peat compost. They are 50" tall to the top of the tallest flower bud.

I got a full size pic, a little overexposed and an apple fell on the greenhouse roof so there's a gaping hole!

Thanks for the info! This year I tried 5 tuberose bulbs in a pot very similar to yours and was very happy with growing them in containers. And now to see the luck you had with these glads. Was thinking of getting a few of these next spring and trying them in a pot as you have done.
