Hi all.....I have neumerous Brugs that need new homes. I didn't know that I would be so sucessful with them my first year.
They have been blooming wonderfully. I have a small 8 x 6 unheated green housed that they are presently in. Sizes range from one that came up from the roots at 6 inches hight to a very largee 6 foot tall plant. All are just now getting ready to bloom again.
Anyone have space to adopt one of these plants soon? If not they will be ending up in my compost bin. I would hate to see that happen after all of the hard work this year. The tallest one is call Day Break, then there is Ec. Pink, Pink Beauty, ect. Just let me know.
Winding up the summer, getting ready for Winter Sowing....

6 DIFFERENT BRUGS NEED NEW HOME IN LOUISVILLE, KY
Geeze! Look at the buds on that plant!
Can't you let them go dormant & put them in a garage for winter? Anywhere will work as long as it's dry & above freezing. Would seem a shame to do all of that work just to give it away!
Hello Martha, If you have any left, I'd be glad to take a Brugmansias from you. Please let me know your requirement. I don't have anything to trade being I'm just starting creating my "tropical paradise". Dorothy
Hello Martha! I would love a new brug. How generous of you! I'd be happy to send you the postage first. Please let me know how I can help you find a home!
Kristi
Wow.. those are mega buds! Good luck finding a home for them! Shouldn't be hard with those huge buds!
Hi,
If you have any left, I would love to have one!
Many thanks!
Mary Jo

Maggie
Those are gorgeous Martha,
I may be a tad late but wanted to get my request in. I will be happy to
contribute whatever necessary if you have any left.
Thanks Much!
Suzie~
Don't know how many you have, and what you'd like to trade for, but I'd be very interested - let me know if there are enough to go around to even consider it. Or are you hoping that we'll come to you to pick them up -- which I can't do because you are a little far away!
Did you read my D mail ?
Martha,
I would love one of the smaller ones, to try out as a houseplant. I can meet you halfway and take you to lunch!!??
Kelly

Martha,
Would love to have a couple of cuttings for postage if you still have any available. My Nanny lives in your neck of the woods . She lives in Radcliff KY. Are you looking for any particular seeds for winter sowning? PLMK
Happy Gardening!

Doesn't sound like she was talking about shipping these monster beauties.
I understood that you could pick them up in Louisville ???
Scoot,
I think you are correct.

you must be right, my Dmail was not answered
well if not for postage then i withdraw as i probably did read it wrong. been a long day. sorry about that. probably did mean pick up and i wish i lived closer to give them a home.
Since I work in Louisville and live right across the river from Louisville, I offered via d-mail to help her find homes (people at work, etc.) for her plants, but got no response.
She did say that she was to go in for surgery today, and that she had to find homes for the plants by today. But that's all she wrote. I followed up with another e-mail, and like everyone else, no response. So I don't know.
Maybe a response will be given next week? The weather is still somewhat holding out, so that's a plus. Maybe she decided she did have room for her babies after all, which would be a good thing. :) Or, maybe she found homes for them by herself, which would be good as well.

Being new at the brug game she did not know about overwintering in the basement until Bjs mentioned it.
That would be a very good outcome to her dilemma.
Hopefully all goes well for her and she can bring us up to speed as soon as she is able ;-))
Hi Martha, are they still avaliable? I can have pickup in Louisville arranged. Thanks.
