Since many have shown photos of their AV shelves, I though I'd add mine. I had DH add a shelf to a north window after seeing Allison's shelf. I wish I could block the outside from showing up. That red Begonia on the outside patio table looks like it could be inside, but it's not.
Here is my beautiful little Pacific Pearl in bloom. I just love this little lady, the foligage is spectacular without the blooms, but the flowers are the prettiest deep blue. This is taken inside.
And this shot is taken outside. Sure makes a difference in the shade of the flower, doesn't it?
I love your containers! Mine are all so boring - the good ole plastic salad containers from the deli.

Gosh, thanks everyone. I don't have the collection that a lot of you have, but they are all lovelies and keep me busy. Thanks to you, Allison and your photo of a few months back, gave me the idea to add the higher shelf so I could keep them all together. Works great unless my 5 month old kitten sees a fly on the window behind them...Yikes! They are all AV's except for the three Streps on the upper right side and the Alsobia Cygnet in the upper middle. I have a few that I am babying in a terrarium downstairs such as Bob Serbin and my leaf nursery is down there too. Allison, most of my leaves from the Bingo box you sent are popping babies out right and left! Guess I'll need a few more sheves pretty soon. Ü

That little darlin' is Glitter Fountain (I.Fredette) Semidouble pink/some red fantasy, red sparkle edge. Variegated dark green, cream and pink. Standard trailer.
It is budding out right now and I can't wait for them to open. It is described as looking like someone sprinkled glitter all over the flowers. Ü

The other plantlets that you sent in the Bingo box are all thriving, Allison. The only casualties were the Strep, Cynthia, and Mac's Tantalizing Temptation :(
Everything else is doing just fine though, including the Russians, Kosmicheskaia Legenda II and Velvet Fantasy (Plantlet & leaves). Black Ace is growing nicely too. Woo Hoo!

As promised, Kenton, here's a photo of Glitter Fountain in bloom. I was a little disappointed, I must say. The description of it "looking like someone sprinkled glitter on it" is a little exaggerated. I have other AV's that glitter more. But it's pretty and I like it. Ü

I agree abou the sprinkle, Don, and thanks for keeping up with it. But at least those fancy leaves are very redeeming. Perhaps, like other AVs, it will bloom nicer in future.

I love your shelf and your plants! Looks fantastic! You gave me an idea by using the tea cup. I have my mothers tea cups she collected that were handed down to me when she passed away. I still have them wrapped in the boxes wondering what I could could really do with them ...now I know and I think she would approve!! I like the glitter fountain.... the cup really compliments it, and I think its pretty! The Pacific Pearl is awesome!! Now I want one!;0) Thank you so much for sharing your pictures!
