I am interested to know which brug has the best smell.
This is only my second year for brugs, and the picture I am showing is where I want to plant the best fragrant brug that I can. I have two windows above this bed and they are in my bedroom. This year I have Maya and P&C and an unknown. I do have a whiskers that I am rooting now with hopes of planting there next year. But I am curious of which Brug that others think has the best fragrant.
Please voice you honest opinion.
In your humble opinion which brug has the best FRAGRANT?????
My personal preference is Maya. Maya has been my absolute favorite for fragrance. I have one right outside my back door. Everytime Maya is in bloom, I walk out the door and DH is sticking his nose in her skirt. I told him to stop molesting her. He points her out to all visitors like she is his girlfriend.
Sunray is another wonderful one for scent. The freshness of babypowder is perfect. I have had scent on sunray even during late morning hours.

I don't have many with "real" names, but I do have Milk N Honey...love the citrus scent it has.
I only have two to go by right now, but Whiskers has the most amazingly strong, citrusy/baby powder smell that just fills my patio, even from far away. My unknown pink smells amazing when she first blooms because it's a gardenia/baby powder scent. It's not nearly as strong as Whiskers, though.
I have noticed that my Creamsickle and Dr. Suess are my best smelling. But Susanne smelled pretty good when she was in full bloom too. I just don't know , it would be hard to pick one.,

As this list grows , let me add L'Amour smells day and night- a very sweet scent.
Just to ensure you will want more- just like the rest of us brug addicts here...LOL
Well shoot, I must not notice how they smell and I go out at night too to take pictures. I have noticed sometimes when I have a lot blooming it is too overpowering. But I can't say I walk by any and go WOW.
I have lots of Maya blooms right now, so I will have to go out sniffing tonight.
The only brug that I truly adore the fragrance of is Arborea. I think that has the best smell of anything I have ever smelled in my life except maybe my own baby. And it fills the yard.
Citronella is the best to me. Smells like lemon joy detergent. Bobbie says if I like it that much go do the dishes.
We want the flowers to smell, and that doesn't include doing the dishes. I will let the dishwasher do that for me, that way it gives me more time to smell the flowers.
IMHO It's Isabella.... so sweet and fresh I love her. It's a toss up.. I also have a white seedling from PudgyMudPies that has a scent to die for.. I call it "Donna's White" and it reminds me of a baby fresh out of the tub. :-)
I have had limited experience with any great variety of Brugs, but I have been growing about 4-5 for about 3 years now.
I second Dr. Seuss as having a bewitching fragrance. I also love the spicy/sweet fragrance of "Species".
