The frogs in our garden in Brisbane Australia just love Bromeliads. Has anyone else found that in their garden?
The frog pictured is an Emerald spotted treefrog (Litoria peronii) we have five species of frog that live in or visit http://froggarden.blogspot.com/ Have a nice day. Roy
Frogs love Bromeliads
What a fantastic shot!
Hello and welcome to DG Roy!
Beautiful photography. Did you plant the Broms with the intent of attracting wildlife or did that just sort of happen?
A little of both actually, Bromeliads suit our sub-tropical climate and I had heard they were a good place for frogs to stay cool and moist in the summertime. They are great to have around, they keep the mossies under control. Thanks for your comment. Roy
Great picture!
What's a mossie?
I'll second that.
What's a mossie?
Mosquito folks, I probably should have spelt it mozzie.
