Daylily seeds for sasbe

(Zone 7b)

I'M OUT OF SEED NOW, THANKS TO ALL WHO WROTE.

Anyone, new member or old, interested in some daylily seeds? I got carried away this (my first) year, and did "just a few" crosses, and now am utterly swamped in daylily seed! And since we have a very small lot in the city, no way can I grow them all.

If you are interested, please dmail me for my address.

I am now out of daylily seeds for this year, thanks to all who wrote, and I'm sure I will have a zillion too many next year, too.

Hello 2zeus
THe daylily seeds have sprouted !!! i have planted them on october 13th in a container with a plastic dome to keep the humidity and they are comming out . Maybe i should of waited to start them but i didn't know how long it could take to germinate . Does someone knows if they might have a chance to bloom next year ?
Thank you again for the seeds . Arlette

Wow, Arlette, that was fast!

I don't think you'll get bloom next year, in your zone, but should the year after, I believe.

That's great Arlette! I've been holding off on mine because, despite my best efforts at prevention, when I brought my brug in some pests came with it :-( I'm treating with Trounce, and once I'm sure the little devils are all gone then I'll start the daylily seeds. LOL I'm getting very impatient!

You could have some bloom next summer, Arlette. I started some in late winter last year, and one bloomed for me in late summer. Usually they don't bloom till the following year for me. Those extra few months under lights could make all the difference for you.
