Bulb Bazaar has the best varieties and largest selection of daffodils, tulips, alliums and other specialty bulbs, including fritillary, hyacinth, autumn crocus and trout lilies, at the perfect time for fall planting. All are carefully researched and selected for their superior performance in midwestern gardens. Bulbs are delivered from Holland just days before the sale. Among this year's selection are 80 specialty bulbs that are difficult to find anywhere else.

Choose from specialized bulb collections for shade, continuous bloom and fragrance. For those who can't wait until spring, there are containers pre-planted with indoor forcing bulbs for winter color. Pre-potted bulb containers that bloom outdoors beginning in the spring make excellent gifts.

Oh, just go and check it out. YOU DON'T NEED TO BUY ANYTHING, REALLY!! LOL. :-)

The last two weekends, I went to both Gethsemane & Chalet to check out the spring bulbs WITHOUT BUYING anything. What do you call that? Yeah, SELF-DISCIPLINE!!!

I want to do some assesment of my garden before going crazy like I have done the past 5 years. You know how it goes.

Lisbon, Portugal(Zone 10a)

... yes, I do...

;-)

BTW, all those bulbs and you bought nothing?? You should be proud of yourself!! LOL!

oh, don't worry. I am just holding on tight right now. Planing, planing and planing before I go bananas at the nursery. I plan to add more tulip, daffs, chinox, crocuses, lillies and irises. It is going to happen soon.

BTW, the only thing I ordered so far is SOUND daffs from Whiteflowerfarm.com Check it out, what a pretty daffs!!

Nice daffodil Asunee! I will have to look for some at the Garden this weekend. I actually got the go ahead from my delightful spouse, as long as I only spend my birthday money :> ....yeah.....
Chalet always tempts me, but for some reason- probably it's being upscale- I can always resist. Now give me a good sale, or an online shop- I'm done for. Do you like orientals? http://buggycrazy.vstore.ca/index.php/cName/lily-bulbs-ot-hybrids-orienpets
I just bought a mess of them from Buggycrazy. I've bought from her before, and her lilies are spectacular!

Hyblaen: Perfect timing for the Lilies advice. I am looking to replace my lilies as we speak. Thank you very much. I'll check BuggyCrazy out!!

Chalet do not have that many choices when comes to lilies, or at least right now.

Oh good! Always happy to encourage someone else to shop :D makes me feel less guilty about my own indulgences. She also has some nice looking Eremurus. I've only bought seeds and lilies so far, but I'm tempted to try these guys. I think they're different looking. I'd love to have a few just to see what they are like in person.
