I planted caladium bulbs in pots for the first time this year. Leaves are still coming up, even though I brought them inside a week ago. They're by a south-facing window. Can they continue to grow as housplants, or will they be triggered to go dormant, if so by what if they are kept warm and given adequate light and water? I'd rather have them keep on a houseplants, they are so pretty, such deep rich pinks.
Do caladiums have to go dormant for winter?
