I planted rhubarb this spring. Didn't harvest any, but what do I do now with the foliage?
Rhubarb
Are you asking in terms of overwintering it? Can I safely assume you know that the rhubarb leaves are poisonous, only the stem is eaten?
Yes, I know that. Didn't know if I needed to cut back the foliage, or just let it go.
Happy to hear. I figured you probably did know about the leaves, although I've encountered a surpising number of folks who've ask me if they can use the leaves in salads. We let the leaves go without ill effect. The plant put up new ones in the spring.
I found this site on rhubarb cultivation. Hope it helps.

Thanks, I just love Rhubarb, and wanted to make sure that I was prepraring it for winter in the right way.
Bonnie, I posted this link sometime ago here; I hope you find the information helpful.
