What a difference a few degrees make

New Orleans, LA(Zone 8b)

It's fantastic! Love it- the first day/night of no airconditioning- whoopie! You, Julie and I should get together and have an iced tea to celebrate the coming of bearable weather...lol

really enjoyable having morning coffee on the front porch

The heat really can make colors change so much. It is beautiful, thanks for sharing it with us.

Hi TessC,
Just had to make a comment about your DG name. I have a sister named Theresa Celeste, and we called her Tessy when she was younger. I still call her Tess. I think of her when I see your entries, and I know your DG name would be perfect for her!

As for the changing colors, I noticed that my hibiscus have brighter colors when the sun is stronger. Sometimes the flowers change colors as they age. Also, the blooms last longer during the winter months for some reason. I guess we should call them chameleon flowers.

Here is Circle of Love at 1 day and 3 days on the same plant.
