Looking for Canna "Cleopatra" and "Australia"
zarcanat are you looking for Stuggart?
:) Donna
You are nice to offert it, actually I do have two rhizomes of this one.
Did you find a way to grow it without scorching the leave? I will be giving them a last chance next summer and they better look great because the garbage can will have a feast LOL!
I did post a picture of mine somewhere I think, but here it is again. I didn't have it in complete full sun. This area faces the East and I did keep it damp all the time. That could be the trick.
Which color is your Fuchsia boliviana? Also what is the plant of the posted picture?
Did you want some Abuliton Hunnington's Pink?
:) Donna
If you are interested in any of them D-mail me.
Okie, dokie...DGmail on the way.
I'll keep an eye open for you zarcanat! :) (I see them here every so often.....one of my fav nurseries has carried both of them).
Thanks Lily, you know what? I've got fuchsia Autumnale from an E-Bay seller near my house, incredible eh?!
Since you are in Montreal it doesn't surprise me in the least. ;)
Gotta try to get ahold of you again (found a letter that someone had left in an unusual spot :).
You are tickleling my curiosity now... that's not fair ;-)
wow so that is what I have to look forward to. I started a couple Bolivianna Fuchsia's from seed. Nowhere near that size and hasn't bloomed this year but I bet it will next year. What will you do with it over the winter? Will it go dormant or is it evergreen and needs to brought indoors? Please share any of your tips for growing and caring for this one.
In the winter I take all the fuchsia's in hanging pots and put them next to the house. They loose their leaves and do fine there until spring. I doubt that the Bolivianna will be as hardy.

Actually, I have to bring all my plants inside since I do not have a garage or a cool room, it takes a lot of place but you know... I love them so much LOL!
Brugcrazy
That is good news. I have found all the common variety hybrids from the local nursery will do fine here too. I just move the baskets next to the house but they are outside all winter and do loose their foliage. Nice to know I will be able to do that with these too.
Thanks for the tip!
What else do you leave outside that we all seem to think is to tropical?
Bea
I have left my brugmansias out all winter. They will come back from the roots but won't flower until late Sept. So I bring most of them in now. That way they flower from June until December. My solanum ratonetti stays in a pot next to the house and it survives every year too. I am thinking of putting it right into the ground. All my hedychiums stay outside all year round too and the cautleyas.
