Look what I found on my walk.

A huge leafed rhizome. Anyone know the name?

I wonder if it is left out all winter.

LOL. What are you doing up still, Sue? I am off to bed. How is your back doing?

Didn't leave the engagement party thing until 1, couple didn't show up until 11:15, their dinner was served late.
back is so-so, taking ibephophen so I can clean house today, just a little bit at a time.

So it looks like that begonia is in the ground, if over the winter it looks like a nice recovery. I have a few that will stay out, I bought a heat mat yesterday too so I will be taking cuttings as insurance.

I left a bunch out last year. All the rhizomatous did great, the canes died back after getting lots of mildew. The Rex die back.

Oh no, the let you all wait while they ate dinner? LOL

No, we got a call from the family when they were on their way home so I went over right before they go there. Played here all evening until then.

I will be leaving a lot out this winter again, just moving some pots under the eaves and the patio cover to prevent rot from rain. Just my very rare precious ones will come in. Getting more shelves and plant stands to gather around the windows of the house. Need more smaller pots for all my new ebay purchases coming in, drove by the pottery outlet off Marina yesterday and while they were closed already, I saw they they look well stocked again, finally. Think I'll head over tomorrow AM before I head to the airport to pick up hubby.
