Winter Color

Frisco, TX(Zone 7b)

Yeah - Yeah, I know - it's still 95+ degrees .... but at some point, we will need to start thinking about winter color.

Last year, we had the typical pansies, and little more. But my wife is not too much into the purples.

Anyone have any other suggestions or ideas as to what they will be using for their winter color? Bugs Bunny retardant preferred :)

I like stocks--smell great, all colors, but we don't have deer in the suburbs of Houston. Snapdragons are good too. You get superior plants of both, in my opinion, from seed grown than what's available in the nursery trades.
