Nope it was at Plant's Delitgh and they don't sell them till spring. I did the garden tour yesterday. Had a great time. Only bought 2 EEs but wish I had lots of money to buy more.

Looks like it has red stems too, I love red stems this week. We'll have to keep an eye out for that one. Congratulations on going to the open house and only coming home with a few EE's. Now that takes self discipline! LOL

I just stumbled across this thread!!! So happy I did.
I have been trying to ID this Hibiscus for 3 years now. I believe this is it!!! I need to do a little more research.

These are so hardy, though might need to be covered well for winters there. I've had this one 2 years and it blooms early in Spring to late Summer, always had lots flowers. Before I tuck mine in I am going to make cuttings of it, and see what happens.

Here is a little friend on the buds. Hibiscus is a host plant for these Hairstreak BFs, their cats eat the leaves. I don't mind sharing...:o). Any dammage is hardly noticable, bc the blooms are so dramatic.
