Hi,

I have been trying to ID a plant and this is pretty close. Mine get tiny blue flowers. How about yours?

I can't say I've noticed flowers yet. It's been in a 1 gallon pot for a few years. I'll try and get a better close-up. stems are a deep-red, almost cascading growth. I looked in Hillier Manual of Trees & Shrubs and it says, "axillary clusters of tiny, reddish-brown flowers. Blue-black, pea-like fruits are produced on female plants. Resembling in general appearance Paxistima myrtifolia." The foliage has an almost unnoticeable serration to the tiny leaves. This plant turned out to be really tough and flies through winter.

Brown flowers can't pass for blue,,,,,dern...

Thanks anyway.

Mine does cascade, though.

The other plant mentioned which is native here doesn't have blue flowers either. Get a pic and put it in ID. I'm sure we could come up with something.

I already did and no one had any ideas....GRRR.
