Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

These may not be new to all of you, but they are the first blooms for me on a couple of these brugs.
The first one is Miss Caylie a newer Seedsrout introduction.

This one I got at the Roundup last summer. It is Margie's delight from picturelady. It hasn't been registered so this is not an official name, but a very pretty brug.

Very pretty...I love that name "Miss Caylie". Only a couple of mine have registered names...so the rest got "nicknames" from me...lol. Which also means I have to admit that I talk to them!! =)

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Margies' Delight has such long tendrils, beautiful!

Maben, MS(Zone 7b)

Margie's Delight looks so special.

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

I love the delicate pink shades. Very pretty! And the double Hawaiian white is to drool over!

Hooks, TX

Miss Caylie's skirt almost looks like it's ruffled! So pretty - thanks for sharing.

I'm still waiting for my very first blooms to open - 3 or 4 on Golden Lady (from Gaylams) should be a few days from now.

Louise , you will love Golden Lady, she is one of my favorites.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

GL is one of my favs too! Always a delight and blooms and blooms.

All so pretty, Patricia! I think that one from Margie is much darker at the right times of the year.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Kell, It is darker than the picture shows. Do you have any idea which cross it was that produced this one. I have an e-mail off to Margie, but I don't see her on Dave's much anymore, so I don't know if she will pick it up.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

She is so into photography now. I hope she is taking pics of flowers to WOW us all with! LOL

It was one of Sue's seeds, EP x (ursuline x cuba).

That Ursuline has some nice brugs stemming from her.

Thanks for the info. Kell. I used to have ursuline but didn't keep her, now I wish I had. I think I will keep this one for some crosses.

Patricia, Happy to see you are enjoying some blooms! I really like the shape and color of Miss Caylie. She looks like an ornament. Perfect for a Christmas tree.!
Does she come in Red??? LOL

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Very pretty, Patricia. I too, like the blooms on Miss Caylie.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Kin, I only had one on each of Miss Caylie and Margie's Delight. Haw. Dbl. white has been blooming for a while now. All my brugs. have tiny buds on them, but as soon as our weather heats up they start dropping. We were in the 70's for a couple day's and are expected to get back up close to 90 for several day's before it cools off again, so I am sure hoping my buds hold. I wish Miss Caylie came in Red, I would for sure have be getting it.

Thank you all for your nice comments. It sure lifted my spirits having a few blooms.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I found tons of buds on my Peanut yesterday, Patricia. Be still my heart. I hear it is great double PINK. I figure I have 6 more weeks of blooms.

Oh Kell you have such wonderful brugs. Peanut is one of those still on my want list.

Concord, CA(Zone 9a)

Oh Kell you have peanut. Its on my list too. I saw her on e-bay but out of my range. Please post pictures. I would like a really dark pink, what would you suggest.

I have some pollen from Peanut. If I were to use it now, with winter coming on, how would I do it, like, I guess I would have to have the plant growing during the winter in the house, and how long would I have to have it on there?

I would freeze it Jeanette, airtight, right away and hope for early spring blooms. Even here, pollinated blooms from now on are a hinky lot.

Northeast, WA(Zone 5a)

Well, I've had a frozen for about a month. Just thought since I had a couple of nice blooms I might try it. Sure don't want to lose it. Thanks Kell.

If you have enough, try it. Never hurts!!

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

I have been trying all summer when I would get occasional blooms to pollinate, and not one has taken. In the Spring I did get some to pollinate, so I think I am going to wait until Spring now to do anymore.

Northeast, WA(Zone 5a)

The only one I have every tried was late last October on my sister's Sang and it did real good. But, it took 9 months. You would have thought I should have gotten a baby from it. LOL
