I've been cleaning out my craft supplies when I came across a bunch of stamps that I have no idea how I came to own. All I can think is that they hitched a ride in box of stuff that I bought at a garage sale at some point.
They appear to be from Spain (if that's what Espana means) and look postally used though some don't appear to have cancel marks on them.
Does anyone keep these kind of stamps or have kids around that would want to use them for crafts or projects?
Probably not worth anything but I don't want to just pitch them either.
Let me know,
Erynne
BTW, they look to be from 1940s, 50s & 60s as some are marked with years, but I'm no expert on stamps.
Used stamps...anybody want these?
Erynne if no one jumps on this Kelli from California may want them (if she is still using them for crafts) and if she does she will prolly give you some seeds in exchange :) http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/402235/
Thanks Pam! I will see if she's interested in them.
You're welcome. :) Here's a couple of examples of what she did with them http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/426716/
Tks for posting the link . Those are wonderful boxes that Kelli has made and I really like the dino one...neat!
These stamps now have home to go to......tks Pam!
Before you send (unless you've already sent them off) could you see if there are any dog or ship ones. Those are collected by my wouldbe seafaring grandson.
The boxes are lovely. I have a couple of dog fridge magnets made from stamps.

If you have any left over once the themed ones are sent out, check with a local church. My church collects cancelled stamps. Not sure what they do with them though.
