Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Several years ago, like 15 or 20, we stopped at a craft fair/food bizarre type of thing while traveling through a small town in South Dakota. One lady was selling small bowls of a rice mixture that tasted like it had brown sugar and cinnamon in it, and she put a bit of cream on top. I have no idea what it was called, and I've not seen it again. Does anyone have an idea of what this could be?

I'd love to make some. This weekend I bought some cinnamon bagels, and the smell of them reminded me of that dish, and now I can't get it off my mind.
