2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup light-brown sugar
1 teaspoon honey
1/4 teaspoon grated gingerroot
1/2 teaspoon orange zest
1 tablespoon orange juice
2 medium peaches, washed, peeled, pitted, and sliced
In a skillet, melt the butter and stir in the brown sugar and honey. Add gingerroot, orange zest, orange juice, and peaches. Saute mixture for a minute or two, just until peaches are soft. Remove from the heat. Serve warm over ice cream. Makes 4 servings.
