The hot weather we had in Aug. just about done my ears in. I lost all the 4ft+ leaves, so I just let the darn things flower. But we have had a couple of rains and cooler temps and the have been putting out some green. John

They look great. Got to love some nice green ears.
John,
I don't understand. Our August here - zone 9a - has to be way hotter than yours, and I have no problems keeping ears healthy.
Dumb question - do you water? A couple of rains isn't going to do it - they need a steady source of water. Many of them can live in standing water. Is that the problem you're having - you can't get water to them?
skaz, it was 5 days in a row with temps over 100degs and me in the VA hospital. john
